1. What is required to rent a Vespa? Do I need any special licence?

You need to come with your passport or identity card, your credit card or cash to pay a deposit and your driving licence. The law in Spain allows you to drive a Vespa LX50CC with your normal driving licence. You need a valid driving licence for Spain (car or motorbike) - for instance, the normal American (USA) driving licence just needs to be translated by an official translator.

2. Can I pay by credit card?

Yes, you can pay by credit card.

3. Is any deposit necessary?

You need to pay a deposit of 300 EUR. You can pay in cash. You can also choose to pay a warranty of 150 EUR, but then we ask you to pay an additional redemption of 10 EUR. The warranty will be returned when you hand in the Via-Vespa. The prices mentioned above are VAT inclusive.

4. Can the scooter be used by two people?

You can ride all our scooters with two people. If there are two of you, you will need an extra helmet, which costs 5 EUR.

5. What happens if I have an accident or my scooter is stolen?

You are fully covered by our insurance for damages against third parties. For damages caused to, or theft of the scooter, the insurance reduces the amount to be paid for damages to an excess of 500 EUR - in case of compliance with the rental agreement.

6. What is covered by the insurance?

Covers third party and also includes a personal insurance and a life insurance for the driver.

7. Do I need to fill the tank with petrol?

We give you the scooter with a full tank. You are allowed to drive 100 km a day with the Vespa. If you pass this limit, we will charge you 0.10 cent per extra driven km.

8. Can I travel outside the city?

City limits: Without contracting an additional insurance with Via-Vespa, the renter is not allowed to drive on motorways.

9. Time of departure and arrival?

You can drive the Via-Vespa from 9:30 AM until 20:30 PM, prices are the same for half a day.

10. From how many people a guide is required?

Because of safteypurposes groups of 10 people or more are obliged to hire a guide (150 €/guide)

12. What is included in the price?

A new and perfectly maintained Vespa LX50CC, taxes, insurance, route maps and a limited amount of km are included in the price.
